The Opportunity:
The Data and AI team sits within Booz Allen's CIO organization. We are responsible for building and maintaining actionable and automated Tableau dashboards, alerts, data models, data queries, and other data solutions for internal and client-facing business leaders. We partner with teams across the organization on initiatives that drive strategy, improve enterprise reporting capabilities, and accelerate our adoption of modern data and AI technologies. Our solutions evolve continuously to meet emerging business priorities, with growing emphasis on AI-assisted development, Databricks-based data engineering, and scalable analytics platforms. This is a highly visible role where you will interact with senior leaders and directly influence enterprise decision-making. You'll have an opportunity to make a measurable and meaningful impact on the success of our company by building innovative, AI-enabled data solutions that leaders rely on daily for decisions related to contracts, staffing, risk mitigation, and more.
In this role, you will develop partnerships with business leaders to understand, document, prioritize, and solve company-wide reporting requirements. Equipped with communication, project management, data modeling, and data visualization expertise, you will collaborate within a team of data scientists and data engineers to transform disparate data sources into meaningful insights. You will leverage Databricks and other advanced analytics tools to refine pipelines, automate workflows, and enhance the performance and reliability of enterprise data products. You'll also own existing dashboards and reporting assets-updating, troubleshooting, and enhancing them as business needs evolve.
We are a growing team transforming Booz Allen-we are paving the way for enterprise reporting while infusing more advanced analytics, AI innovation, Databricks-driven automation, and modern data engineering practices into internal business operations. This is a highly collaborative role that requires critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and a can-do attitude when faced with complex analytical challenges.
This is a high-visibility, collaborative role with ultimate impacts on contracts, staffing, risk, and other enterprise decisions. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
What You'll Work On:
  • Own existing dashboards and data models and update, troubleshoot, and enhance them as needs change.
  • Use Databricks and related tools to refine pipelines, automate workflows, and build notebooks that feed enterprise data products.
  • Partner with leaders to document, prioritize, and deliver company-wide reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to turn disparate sources into actionable insights.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with reporting or BI tools, including building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau
  • 2+ years of experience with data modeling and building workflows in Databricks or Alteryx
  • Experience with Databricks such as building notebooks to support dashboards
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to ensure data accuracy and quality
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of AI tooling
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
