Job description

Position Summary

The Part-Time Data Operations Associate (Day Shift) supports the Sample and Data Operations team by enhancing respondent contact data, maintaining accurate records, and preparing materials for field and CATI operations. The role focuses on daytime production activities including bulk tracing, data entry, mail processing, and field preparation to ensure all cases are accurate and ready for operational use, focusing on improving contact rates and completion outcomes through timely updates and quality assurance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct electronic searches to identify updated contact information for respondents, alternate contacts, and businesses using subscription and public databases (e.g., LexisNexis, Accurint, etc.)
  • Update respondent records within the tracing database with newly identified information
  • Track and process returned mail and update records accordingly
  • Perform data entry using Excel, Access, and survey platforms (e.g., VOXCO)
  • Maintain and update databases and tracking systems with high accuracy
  • Assist in maintaining process documentation, schedules, and tracking logs
  • Provide general administrative support to the unit
  • Complete assignments from the Sample and Data Operations Manager
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements AND Key Competencies

  • Option 1: Part-time day time hours (e.g., 8:00 am โ€“ 2:00 pm), with flexibility based on operational needs
  • Option 2: Part-time afternoon, evening shift (2:00 pm โ€“ 7:00 pm), with flexibility based on operational needs
  • High school diploma required
  • Intermediate computer skills: able to navigate within databases and electronic search engines; able to adapt quickly to new computer systems
  • Ability to work up to 30 hours per week
