What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage access control points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor access as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, building interiors, exterior areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Support the protection of critical infrastructure by reporting access control equipment issues, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
