We are hiring Direct Support Professionals, Group Home Managers, Assistant Group Home Managers, and LPNs to support residents with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Job Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional:
  • Assist and/or supervise in activities of daily living skills
  • Administer or assist with prescribed medication
  • Light housekeeping
  • Assist with transportation
  • Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives
  • Data entry using Therap (EHR)
  • Assist residents in the pursuit of recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans

Job Requirements for Direct Support Professional:
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
  • Strong communication skills

Job Responsibilities of a Group Home Manager and Assistant Manager:
  • Supervise all aspects of the group home.
  • Plan and conduct staff meetings and trainings.
  • Conduct interviews and observations, provide feedback, and complete employee evaluations.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with the group home Assistant Manager.
  • Uphold agency and licensing regulations.
  • Responsible for creating staff scheduling
  • Assist with scheduling doctors' appointments.
  • Responsible for program and client finances
  • Assists and supervises in activities of daily living skills
  • Administer or assist with prescribed medication.

Job Requirements for a Group Home Manager and Assistant Manager:
  • HS diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience as a supervisor and working with people with disabilities
  • A valid driver's license in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

LPN Job Responsibilities:
  • Administers medication and medical treatments as required and completes documentation
  • Accompanies individuals to and from medical appointments and activities as needed
  • Assists with activities of daily living as needed
  • Data entry using Therap (EHR)
  • Implements medically prescribed diets and exercise programs
  • Completes documentation that is necessary for program operations promptly

LPN Job Requirements:
  • A valid NJ State Practical Nurse License
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license is in good standing and must be insurable under NJID's automobile insurance.
  • Experience with G-tube feedings
  • Experience working with intellectual, developmental, and related disabilities preferred
