Bilingual Customer Service Representative / Cashier (Part-Time)

Pay: $16.00–$17.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time (Approximately 20–24 hours per week)

We are a growing financial services company serving the Columbus community. We provide check cashing, money transfers, Ohio Lottery, BMV services, bill payments, money orders, notary services, and many other financial services.

We're looking for a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused individual who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced environment. Previous financial services experience is not required—we provide paid training.

This position is ideal for someone with retail, cashier, banking, customer service, hospitality, or administrative experience.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish.

  • Cash payroll and personal checks.

  • Process domestic and international money transfers.

  • Sell Ohio Lottery products.

  • Assist customers with Ohio BMV registration renewals and related services.

  • Educate customers about our tax preparation and ITIN application services.

  • Process bill payments, money orders, copies, faxing, and additional office services.

  • Accurately handle cash transactions and balance a cash drawer.

  • Perform front desk and administrative duties while maintaining a welcoming environment.

  • Enter customer information accurately using strong data entry skills.

  • Navigate multiple computer programs efficiently while assisting customers.

  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook throughout the workday.

  • Maintain accurate records while following company policies and financial compliance procedures.

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Strong cash handling and basic math skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong computer and typing skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple software programs.

Schedule

This position averages approximately 20–24 hours per week.

Our office is open:

  • Monday–Saturday: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM

Most weekday shifts are 3:00 PM–8:00 PM, with rotating Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.

Employees work on a predictable rotating schedule, allowing everyone to share evening and weekend responsibilities fairly. Weekend shifts rotate so that no one employee is always assigned to Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

Applicants should be available to work evenings and weekends as part of the regular rotation.
