LEASING CONSULTANT - ROVING amp; SITE-BASED POSITION
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for being a great team member across multiple high-energy communities while maintaining a primary presence at The Veridian Residences in Portsmouth, NH. This unique hybrid role combines roving responsibilities with site-based work. This position will spend time rotating between properties based on portfolio needs while also maintaining consistent part-time leasing support at The Veridian Residences. We expect the Leasing Consultant to create the greatest possible satisfaction and well-being of all individuals associated with our communities while being consistent with the goals amp; objectives of the company. This individual works in conjunction with property management teams by responding to telephone inquiries, interviewing prospective residents, conducting site tours, preparing and completing lease paperwork as well as data entry across multiple locations.
As a Leasing Consultant (LC), your primary responsibilities include:
  • Ability to take a prospect from traffic to resident at multiple properties
  • Maintain closing ratios across all assigned communities
  • Collect rental deposits and process all rental paperwork
  • Conduct site tours and showcase property features professionally at various locations
  • Respond to telephone and email inquiries from prospective residents
  • Interview prospective residents and qualify leads
  • Prepare and complete lease agreements and related documentation
  • Perform accurate data entry in property management systems
  • Aware of the surroundings to make sure that all properties are kept in excellent condition
  • Help to manage properties' social media and coordinate resident events
  • Building brand loyalty by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive
  • Travel between portfolio properties to provide leasing support as needed
  • Adapt quickly to different property types, floor plans, and community amenities
  • Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure seamless leasing operations
What You Bring to Us:
  • A college degree (preferred but not required)
  • 1-3 years of experience in property management, hospitality or retail industries
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with industry software (MRI, YARDI, Nexus preferred)
  • Sales aptitude and ability to close deals
  • Sharp and professional appearance
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different property environments
  • Strong organizational skills to manage leads and follow-ups across multiple properties
  • Personal, reliable transportation to travel between properties
  • Flexibility to work at various locations based on business needs
  • This role requires consistent weekend availabilityโ€”weekend shifts are mandatory
