Job description

Shape the Future of Blockchain—Bringing Business On-Chain

We’re offering a unique opportunity to join Launch Legends (and Autheo) as a part-time Equity Cofounder. Founded nearly four years ago, Launch Legends is at the forefront of bridging Web3 blockchain technology with the next evolution of Web2 integration—bringing businesses on-chain through enterprise-grade solutions, DePIN innovations, and decentralized financial infrastructure.

Our flagship project, Autheo, is an AI-enabled Layer-0 Operating System with an integrated Layer-1 blockchain and complete decentralized infrastructure that includes decentralized compute, storage, identity, and service marketplaces, as well as a Full-stack development environment (DevHub)—engineered for scalable enterprise adoption, developer innovation, and real-world blockchain integration.

Our Projects
  • Autheo – www.autheo.com
  • Autheo Team – https://www.autheo.com/teams
  • Launch Legends (Parent Company) – www.launchlegends.io
  • Twitter : https://x.com/Autheo_Network
About Autheo

With nearly 100 equity cofounders from leading companies and institutions—many with advanced degrees and PhDs—Autheo is solving the critical challenges blocking business adoption of blockchain technology.

Key Features
  • Enterprise-Grade Layer-0 + Layer-1 – High-speed, self-securing, quantum-resistant infrastructure built for scale
  • Developer Hub & Application Marketplace – A decentralized platform where developers build, deploy, and monetize real-world apps
  • Web2-Web3 Integration – Microservices, SDKs, and governance frameworks for seamless business migration
  • Decentralized Cloud & Compute – Secure, privacy-preserving storage and AI-powered compute for next-gen applications
  • DePIN Infrastructure – On-chain networks powering real-world infrastructure ownership and resource sharing
Compensation & Growth Path

This is a part-time equity / token-based cofounder opportunity. You will receive equity in Launch Legends, Autheo, and the WFO Creator Network, along with token allocations in the Autheo blockchain. We have already completed an initial financing round to support infrastructure and marketing, and are currently in discussions with VCs and crypto investors to fund expansion and salaries. Salaried compensation is expected to begin following node, token sales, or additional funding.

ROLE: Chief Engineering Officer / Senior Vice President of Engineering (Equity Cofounder) About the Role

Autheo is seeking an exceptional technical leader to serve as Chief Engineering Officer / Senior Vice President of Engineering. This is a high-ownership equity cofounder role responsible for the architecture, implementation, security, and long-term evolution of Autheo’s quantum-safe Layer-0 Operating System and integrated Layer-1 blockchain.

You will own the end-to-end engineering vision and execution for a production-grade, post-quantum, AI-native coordination layer that unifies identity (TheoID), compute, storage, messaging, and intelligent automation. This includes the Cosmos SDK Layer-0 foundation with native IBC, the EVM-compatible Layer-1 execution environment (Proof of Autheo / CometBFT), modular high-throughput nodes, tuple-based and dimensional data models, Zero-Knowledge systems, and privacy-preserving AI capabilities.

You will lead and scale a global, distributed engineering organization of equity cofounders and contributors while ensuring the platform remains secure, performant, and ready for real-world financial, DePIN, enterprise, and autonomous-agent workloads. This role works in close partnership with the Managing Directors, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, Product, Research, and other executive leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own overall technical architecture and multi-year engineering roadmap for the quantum-safe Layer-0 OS + Layer-1 stack
  • Lead design, hardening, and continuous improvement of post-quantum cryptography (PQCNet / NIST standards), TheoID (W3C DID), Zero-Knowledge Proofs, and privacy-preserving AI systems
  • Drive protocol-level work across Cosmos SDK, IBC interoperability, EVM execution, modular node design, consensus (Proof of Autheo), and high-throughput data structures
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing, distributed engineering organization spanning protocol, platform, security, infrastructure, QA, and DevOps
  • Establish and enforce engineering excellence standards: architecture reviews, CI/CD, observability, testing, documentation, and operational readiness
  • Oversee security posture, audit readiness (building on prior Halborn and CertiK work), and production reliability of Mainnet
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Research, CISO, Legal/Compliance, and Business teams on prioritization, IP strategy, regulated features, and ecosystem integrations
  • Guide technical decision-making that balances innovation speed with enterprise-grade security, scalability, and long-term maintainability
  • Represent engineering leadership in strategic discussions, technical publications, and external technical partnerships as needed
Requirements — Must Have
  • 15-25+ years of progressive experience in advanced systems architecture, large-scale distributed systems, and engineering leadership
  • Proven track record architecting and delivering production blockchain systems (Cosmos SDK, EVM, Polkadot, Avalanche, or equivalent multichain environments)
  • Deep hands-on expertise in post-quantum cryptography, Zero-Knowledge systems, decentralized identity, and/or privacy-preserving compute
  • Demonstrated success leading engineering teams through design → testnet → mainnet (or equivalent high-stakes production launches)
  • Strong background bridging enterprise Web2 architecture patterns with sovereign Web3 systems
  • Experience scaling engineering organizations, establishing technical standards, and driving delivery in distributed / global teams
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a high-autonomy, equity-cofounder culture
Nice to Have
  • Lead authorship or significant contribution to research papers or patents in quantum-safe blockchain structures, dimensional data models, or AI-driven Web4 systems
  • Prior experience with DePIN, agentic systems, regulated financial infrastructure, or high-assurance environments
  • Familiarity with tuple expansion / dimensional chaining concepts or advanced modular blockchain designs
  • ScrumMaster / Product Ownership certifications or equivalent process leadership experience
  • Background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related fields with systems-level depth
First 90-Day Focus Areas
  • Full technical architecture assessment and prioritized engineering roadmap aligned with Mainnet evolution
  • Engineering organization structure, hiring priorities, and operating cadence for a distributed equity team
  • Security, reliability, and observability baseline review with clear improvement plan
  • Alignment sessions with Product, Research, and executive leadership on near-term technical priorities
  • Identification of critical path items for quantum security, performance, and developer tooling enhancements
