About This Job
Axos is seeking a part-time Data Analyst to support the Bank's data and analytics function by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing operational and customer-related data to produce accurate, timely insights for business and compliance stakeholders. Assist with reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis that help monitor performance, identify trends, and strengthen data-driven decision making. Work under the guidance of senior analysts to ensure data quality, documentation, and reporting standards are met.
Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned analytical work in a manner consistent with policies, data handling standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Complete required training and follow established reporting and documentation practices.
  • Extract, validate, and organize data from Bank systems, reports, and files. Assist with monitoring data quality, reconciling discrepancies, and documenting data sources and assumptions.
  • Conduct analysis of transactional, operational, and customer data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process or reporting improvement. Prepare summaries, tables, and visualizations that support management and business unit reviews.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of recurring reports and dashboards. Support ad hoc requests from business units, and help document methodologies so analyses can be repeated and audited.

Education & Experience
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in STEM
  • Experience within internship, coursework or project experience in data analysis, reporting, Excel, SQL, or business intelligence tools preferred
