We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to join the Content & Community team at Trove Brands. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy for Whiskware. Your role will consist of strategizing and concepting content, analyzing performance metrics, and working cross-functionally with our creative and digital partners to drive brand awareness and growth for our various social channels.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy aligned with the brands goals and target audience.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure a competitive edge.

Content Creation and Curation:
  • Collaborate with our creative team to concept and create high-quality, engaging, and relevant content for various social media platforms.
  • Curate and share user-generated content and industry-related posts.
  • Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and campaign execution.

Social Media Account & Community Management:
  • Manage and maintain the company's presence on key social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and moderate user-generated content and ensure it aligns with company guidelines.
  • Be prepared to handle and resolve any potential social media crises or negative comments in a professional and tactful manner.

Analytics and Reporting:
  • Analyze key performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, conversion rates) and use data to optimize and adapt social media strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on social media performance and insights to inform decision-making.

Brand Awareness and Community Building:
  • Build and engage with an online community, foster relationships with followers, and cultivate brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate with our ambassador and affiliate team to assist in the execution of influencer marketing strategies.

Requirements:
  • Proven 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in a professional setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a deep understanding of social media language, trends, and culture.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools, such as CapCut, Canva, and more.
  • A keen eye for design aesthetics and the ability to create visually compelling content.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for social media and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and platform updates.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
