High School Dance Team & Competitive Coach

Elite Dance Academy | Broomfield, CO

Were you the dancer who loved game day, competition season, and pushing yourself to the next level?

Do you understand what it takes to be on and succeed in a high school dance team environment?

Elite Dance Academy is looking for a High School Dance Team & Competitive Coach to train, mentor, and develop high school dancers who are balancing school teams and competitive dance and who are ready to grow.

This is not just a teaching role.
This is a mentorship and leadership opportunity to impact dancers during one of the most important stages of their development.

What You'll Do

  • Train high school dancers in technique, performance quality, and strength
  • Prepare dancers for high school dance team success including tryouts, game day, performance, and competition styles
  • Choreograph and clean routines across styles such as pom, jazz, and hip hop
  • Mentor dancers in confidence, accountability, and team mindset
  • Create high-energy, engaging, and challenging classes that push dancers to grow
  • Collaborate with leadership and follow clear systems, communication, and timelines
  • Support performances, competitions, rehearsals, and key program events

Who We're Looking For

  • Someone with a personal background in high school dance team and/or competitive dance
  • A teacher or coach who loves working with high school dancers specifically
  • A leader who can balance high expectations with strong connection
  • Someone who brings energy, accountability, and professionalism into every class
  • A team player who respects structure, communication, and leadership

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience teaching or coaching high school dancers, competitive teams, or similar programs
  • Strong understanding of high school dance team culture and expectations
  • Ability to teach and choreograph in pom, jazz, hip hop, and performance-based styles
  • Strong communication skills and reliability
  • Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and follow established systems
  • Availability on weekends, including a commitment to Sunday training
