Part-Time Customer Service Representative

Respected Roots is a premium men's grooming and skincare brand dedicated to providing high-quality grooming products and an exceptional customer experience. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused individual to join our team and help deliver outstanding service to our growing community.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative to provide timely, professional support to our customers through email and occasional inbound phone calls. This is an in-person position for someone who is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via email.
  • Answer occasional inbound customer phone calls and provide exceptional service.
  • Resolve customer concerns, order issues, shipping inquiries, and product questions.
  • Partner with the Fulfillment team to prioritize rush orders and resolve order-related issues.
  • Investigate shipping delays, damaged packages, and order discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and document all customer interactions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other computer applications to track orders and customer requests.
  • Meet established response time expectations while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional administrative and customer support duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong typing and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms or customer service software (such as Shopify, Gorgias, Zendesk, or similar) is a plus.
Schedule
  • Monday–Friday during business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
  • Part-time schedule to be discussed during the interview process.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as business needs require.
