Job description

Job Summary:

We are a rapidly growing health insurance agency looking for an organized and motivated PART TIME customer service representative to join our team. We work with all the major carriers in Ohio and assist clients with their health insurance needs for both the under-65 and Medicare markets.


Customer Service Project Manager Duties:


โ€ข Answer phones and greet clients

โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

โ€ข Add and maintain client information in CRM systems

โ€ข Provide support to prospective and current clients as needed

โ€ข Coordinate kits for agent appointments

โ€ข Communicate with insurance carriers regarding cancellation letters, change requests, and updates

โ€ข Upload monthly renewals from carriers into the CRM

โ€ข Assist the team with various projects

โ€ข Assist with the yearly open enrollment period (October to December), requiring additional hours per week during this time, including some Saturdays.

Requirements & qualifications:

โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent

โ€ข Excellent communication skills

โ€ข Highly detail-oriented

โ€ข Ability to manage multiple projects and multitask effectively

โ€ข Prior experience in health insurance is a plus, particularly in Medicare

โ€ข Self-motivated and well-organized

โ€ข Adaptable and able to go with the flow

โ€ข Flexible schedule during the busy season (October to December each year)


Hours/Compensation:

โ€ข 20-24 hours/week, $20-22/hour, based on experience
