STUDIO OVERVIEW

Serasana means To Be Healthy, and our mission is to create a community of hope and healing. Serasana Katy is a Wellness Center that fuses ancient wellness practices, specializing in stress and pain management, by encouraging regular use of acupuncture, yoga, massage, healing tea and remedies.

We are looking for Full time and Part time Licensed Massage Therapists to join our team.

We have implemented a monetary bonus for Massage Therapists after their first 120 days of employment.

Our environment is unique, we have a beautiful tea bar and a thoughtful retail selection that supports our clients on their wellness journey. We have seven treatment rooms including space for couple's massage.

We are located at 28818 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Suite 140, Katy, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the Serasana model of health and wellness, and work together with fellow team members to help our clients take full advantage of available offerings
  • Provide massages ranging from 25-110 minutes forscheduled clients and walk-ins
  • Consult with clients regarding their current needs, medical history and overall wellness
  • Guide clients through our service offerings
  • Recommend treatment plans that can includesuggestions forbetter health includingyoga, acupuncture, meditation, tea and other remedies toassist clients in their wellness journey
  • Take detailed histories, including information about injuriesand chronic health conditions
  • Complete SOAP notes after each session and enter data in software program
  • Customizesessions around specific complaints or problem areas
  • Provide client with Wellness Prescription after each session
  • Care for linens and replace between sessions
  • Clean and sanitize therapy room and equipment used after sessions
  • Attend and participate in meeting and training
  • Report to the Owner/Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

CurrentTexasLicense for Massage Therapy

Current Liability Insurance

Prior experience in Silicone Cupping is a PLUS, but not required. Training will be provided .

REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent bending at waist
  • Ability to assist clients with disabilities
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Live a tobacco-free lifestyle
  • Report to work free from any adverse effects of drugs or alcohol
  • Work weekends
