Company Description
As a Classroom Behavioral Aide with Club Xcite, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for special education students. You will work closely with educators and behavior specialists to implement creative and effective behavior intervention strategies, enabling students to succeed academically and socially.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Personalized Behavior Support: Collaborate with teachers and behavior specialists to develop and implement personalized behavior support plans that are engaging, creative, and tailored to each student's unique goals and learning style.
  • Skill-Building: Assist students in developing essential life skills, social skills, and communication skills through interactive and creative activities.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of behavior data, analyze progress, and adjust intervention strategies accordingly.
  • Positive Reinforcement: Implement positive reinforcement techniques to motivate and reinforce desired behaviors, creating a nurturing and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work as part of a collaborative team, including teachers, therapists, and other professionals, to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to student support.
  • Creative Engagement: Infuse creativity and innovation into daily activities, making learning enjoyable and meaningful for students.

Job Type: Part-Time, Mon-Fri 20 hrs

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
Schedule:
  • Afternoon shift
  • After school
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:
  • Riverside, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs, autism, or related developmental disorders.
  • Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others succeed and fostering student success.
  • CPR/First Aide Certification Required
