Competency Psychologist

MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, is proud to be the provider of healthcare staffing solutions to state agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking multiple part time or per diem Licensed Psychologists to join our team to assist with competency evaluations in the western/central and eastern/central region of Pennsylvania.

This is a combination of on-site and remote work for up to 20 hours/week. This provider should have availability to provide 1 evaluation per week, ideally Monday-Friday.

Work includes but is not limited to: the diagnosis of the individual client/youth needs; the planning, development and implementation of client/youth therapies, the evaluation of individual client/youth progress and the formulation of individual client/youth prognosis. Important aspects of this work include the selection and application of psycho-therapeutic treatments including the frequency, intensity, and duration of applied therapies.

Work includes the development of treatment procedures and the implementation of policies regarding the delivery of psychological services to individual client/youth served. Clinical supervision may be exercised over psychological services personnel. Work performed may include psychological testing to aide with diagnostic formulation, and forensic evaluation of individuals incarcerated in the judicial system which the courts have requested DPW/OMHSAS perform during a jail assessment.

Qualifications

  • PhD or PsyD from accredited university Psychology program
  • Psychologist PA License or pending
  • 1.5 years of licensed psychologist experience
  • Clinical supervision experience preferred
  • Corrections experience a plus
  • Active CPR card
  • Credentialing and background check

We are offering newly increased compensation rates for our part-time and per diem team members, as well as malpractice insurance that includes tail coverage.
