Responsibilities
  • Assists with direct patient care procedures and related tasks.
  • Assists in obtaining patient histories, takes vital signs, prepares charts and assists with medical examinations.
  • Assists doctors in examining and treating patients.
  • Performs routine procedures under established protocols (to include but not limited to phlebotomy, EKG’s, dressing changes, wound cultures, IM injections).
  • Maintains and stocks medicines and medical supplies as necessary.
  • Practices safety, environmental and infection control methods.

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program with a certification in and EKG
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Proficient with electronic medical records
  • Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
