Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Utah Jazz are looking for a motivated recent graduate or current student to join our digital content team for the 2026-27 season. This is a part-time position working 30 hours per week from August 2026 through the end of the NBA season. This position will support the social media producers and manager in executing social copywriting, content capture at events and games, analytics reporting across social platforms and more. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in creating content for an NBA franchise and help you sharpen your skills in content production as you pursue a career in sports marketing. This is a part-time position based in Salt Lake City, UT.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of the social media strategy for the Utah Jazz in the 2026-27 NBA season.
  • Support the social media producers in planning, scheduling, and publishing social media content across all channels.
  • Work with the digital content team to build analytics reports, especially around tentpole activations during the season.
  • For game nights, support the social media team in a variety of ways, including but not limited to: content capture pregame/in-game/postgame, social copywriting and supporting sponsorship activations.
  • At the direction of the social media manager and producers, work with other internal departments to provide social media coverage for community, business, and player-led events in the local market.
  • Protect the reputation of the company.
  • Exemplify the Utah Jazz mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy.
  • Accept other duties, as assigned.
