Position Summary
Job Type: Temporary, Part-time - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 9am-1pm,
September 14, 2026 to June 30, 2027
Hours of Work: Primarily daytime, occasional evening or weekend work may be required
Reporting to: Education Manager
Department: Education
The Cook is a key member of the qaymqnmst program team who provides healthy nourishment to the Kindergarten and Grade 1 Tla'amin ci cuy attending this school program. The qaymqnmst Cook plays a key role in creating a welcoming, culturally grounded learning environment for the ci cuy.
Key Responsibilities
Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Tla'amin policies, standards, practices and procedures as directed by the Education Manager. Maintains confidentiality as required regarding citizens, members, clients, employees and general matters of the Nation.

Working Conditions
This position requires occasional lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods of time, and repetitive motion including bending. Adherence to all WorkSafe regulations and safe work practices is required as well as to Tla'amin Nation's Safety policies and protocols.
