Getty Team LLC is a growing janitorial and facility services company serving commercial, public-sector, and residential clients throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County. We provide routine janitorial cleaning, facility support, and specialty cleaning services.

We are looking for a reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented Janitorial Floater / Project Cleaner to help support multiple client locations, one-time jobs, and special projects as our company continues to grow.

Position Overview

The Janitorial Floater / Project Cleaner will provide cleaning coverage and project support at different client sites based on business needs. Primary service areas currently include Carson, Gardena, Torrance, and Buena Park, but additional locations throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County may be assigned as we add new accounts.

This role may include routine janitorial coverage, employee shift coverage, new account startups, move-in/move-out cleans, and specialty cleaning projects such as carpet cleaning, pressure washing, and window washing.

This is a part-time position with the potential for additional hours as the company grows. The ideal candidate must be dependable, responsive, flexible, and comfortable working at different locations rather than one fixed site.

For the right person, this role may also provide an opportunity to grow into a lead or supervisor position over time.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Providing janitorial cleaning coverage at multiple client sites

• Covering shifts when regular employees are unavailable

• Assisting with new account startups and site transitions

• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, break rooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned spaces

• Emptying trash and replacing liners

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

• Restocking restroom, break room, and janitorial supplies

• Spot cleaning glass, doors, counters, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces

• Assisting with one-time cleaning jobs and special projects

• Assisting with move-in and move-out cleans

• Assisting with carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, floor care, pressure washing, and window washing as needed

• Loading, unloading, setting up, and cleaning equipment and supplies

• Reporting maintenance issues, supply needs, safety concerns, or site problems

• Following site-specific cleaning instructions and company procedures

• Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all client locations

• Communicating clearly regarding schedule, site issues, supplies, and work completion

Requirements

• Prior janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, or specialty cleaning experience preferred

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must be willing and able to travel to different client sites throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County

• Must be dependable, punctual, and responsive during scheduled work hours

• Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions

• Must be able to communicate clearly regarding schedule, site issues, supplies, and work completion

• Must be willing to perform both routine janitorial work and occasional project-based cleaning

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull cleaning equipment and supplies as needed

• Must be comfortable using basic janitorial tools and equipment

• Must be willing to learn specialty cleaning work, including carpet cleaning, pressure washing, and window washing

• Must be willing to follow company safety procedures and client site rules

Schedule

This is a part-time floater and project support position. Hours may vary depending on client needs, employee coverage, special projects, and new account openings.

Applicants should have flexibility with evening and/or weekend availability. Some work may be scheduled in advance, while other work may be based on coverage needs or one-time project requests.

More consistent hours may become available as Getty Team adds additional accounts.

Because this is a floater role, the work location and schedule may change based on operational needs. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible.

Travel / Service Area

This is a field-based position. Primary service areas currently include Carson, Gardena, Torrance, Buena Park, and nearby cities. Additional locations in Los Angeles County and Orange County may be assigned based on business needs.

Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling to different client locations. Approved work-related travel between assigned job sites will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

Pay

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on reliability, flexibility, performance, experience, and ability to support multiple client sites and project-based work.

A good fit for this role is someone who does not mind variety — one day may involve routine janitorial coverage, while another day may involve helping with a move-out clean, carpet cleaning job, window washing, or other specialty project.
