NOW CFO is a �roll-up your sleeves� full-service consulting firm specializing in CFO, Controller, and Accounting support services with a singular focus on our client's success. Our expert employees help to identify and create solutions for the various accounting and finance problems that all companies face.
We are seeking a Controller who will help us lead client engagements assisting small to mid-sized businesses with various accounting challenges as a full-time, W-2 employee for NOW CFO.
Applicant must be a strong, self-starting, organized, dedicated, flexible and energetic individual with a high level of integrity. We're looking for that 'go-to' person that enjoys learning and accomplishing tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
ďż˝ Prepare financial statements
ďż˝ Set up internal controls
ďż˝ Cash flow and treasury management
ďż˝ Ad-hoc reporting
ďż˝ Debt covenant reporting
ďż˝ Build cash flow forecast/budgeting
ďż˝ Inventory management
ďż˝ Administer sales, commissions, and compensation plans
ďż˝ Create and Manage Scorecard
ďż˝ Oversee accounting staff
ďż˝ Reconcile accounts
ďż˝ Evaluate & fix accounting systems
ďż˝ Establish accounting foundation
ďż˝ Review trending and analyze accounts

ďż˝ Customize financial reports

Job Requirements:
Must possess an ability to engage others and to work collaboratively with all departments across the company including the ability to effectively interface with management. Candidate will contain exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentations skills along with the skills to manage multiple priorities effectively with a strong commitment to achieving the goals of the department and the company.

ďż˝ 8+ years work experience
ďż˝ CPA/CPA Candidate preferred
ďż˝ Audit experience at a CPA firm preferred
ďż˝ Experience with the full bookkeeping cycle (GL, AR/AP, reconciliations, etc).
ďż˝ Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and financial systems and processes
ďż˝ Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
ďż˝ High attention to detail and accuracy
ďż˝ Experience supporting Operational Software (i.e., MS Office) preferred
