Control Panels USA is seeking a Part-Time Production Helper to join our growing team. This person is responsible for helping maintain a clean, orderly, and safe production area while supporting Assembly / Manufacturing / Production Technicians. The helper performs approved, non-hazardous cleaning, organizing, recycling, and light material-handling tasks under the direction of a production supervisor or designated adult employee. This is a part-time, entry-level position open to qualified applicants, including students seeking work outside school hours.

Schedule will be a part-time hours for this position. Ideal for a student going to school.
 Duties & Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
  • Sweep and vacuum designated production floors, aisles, and work areas using approved non-powered or household-type cleaning equipment.
  • Pick up wire scraps, packaging, and other non-hazardous debris from designated areas and place items in the proper waste or recycling containers.
  • Empty ordinary trash and recycling containers, replace liners, and move bags to the assigned collection point.
  • Wipe down empty workbenches, carts, shelves, and other approved surfaces using company-provided supplies and instructions.
  • Organize approved hand supplies, empty bins, packaging materials, and cleaning tools in labeled storage locations.
  • Break down light cardboard and assist with recycling; do not operate compactors, balers, forklifts, or other powered material-handling equipment.
  • Keep aisles, exits, eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, and electrical panels free of clutter.
  • Report spills, damaged items, sharp objects, exposed wiring, or other hazards to a supervisor immediately rather than attempting unsafe cleanup.
  • Follow all safety rules, require personal protective equipment practices, and supervisor instructions.
  • Assist with other approved, non-hazardous housekeeping duties that support the production team.
  • The person will also be responsible for moving wood pallets of the floor or stacking them on an assigned area.
  • The person will be also using pallet jacks to move stuff around when asked to.
Other Duties:
  • No operation, setup, adjustment, cleaning, or maintenance of production machinery, power tools, drill presses, saws, hoists, forklifts, compactors, balers, or other hazardous equipment.
  • No electrical assembly, wiring, energized work, work at heights, roof work, confined-space entry, driving for company business, or handling of hazardous chemicals.
  • No entry into restricted production zones unless authorized and directly supervised.
Requirements
  • Positive, respectful attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe workplace.
  • No previous production or cleaning experience required; training will be provided.
  • Work must remain within designated safe areas and under the supervision of authorized personnel.

  •  Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and ask questions when unsure.
Work Schedule:This is a part-time position with hours based on production needs and the employee’s availability. Scheduling may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and other agreed-upon times.
