Bucks County Community College is seeking qualified individuals to join our team of talented Leadership & Soft Skills subject matter experts who train, coach, and consult with our employer clients. Our programs are customized, and we are seeking individuals for a variety of programs ranging from Leadership & Supervisory Skills to Soft Skills such as Conflict Management, Communicating & Listening, Time Management, Customer Service, Business Writing, etc. These are part-time, contract-based positions for engagements that range from quick learning bursts of few hours to longitudinal leadership academies spanning months.

Our programs are delivered on site at customer locations, at any of the BCCC facilities, or virtually.

All of our work is customized to the needs of our clients by developing their training from the ground up or tailoring our proven syllabi that are infused with case studies, scenarios, and other learning aids that will specifically address those issues of our customers.

Primary Duties:

  • Instructors/SMEs are often asked to participate in needs analysis meetings with clients which will lead to compensation for content development IF the project is awarded to the college.

  • Instruct, develop training content, and utilize all college forms and paperwork associated with the course. Identify supplies/materials/equipment required for successful delivery of the class in advance of the program launch. This information is critical to developing price quotes for the clients to sign off on.

  • Our training, coaching, and consulting is almost exclusively delivered during business hours with only a few exceptions occurring in the evenings or on the weekends. However, as our mission is to improve the performance of our employer-clients, that may require weekend or evening instruction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Graduate Degree

  • Over 10 years relative business experience which supports your mastery of leadership and/or soft skills best practices.

  • At least 5 years Training and/or Adult education experience resulting in the ability to work with small to large audiences, and technically savvy with virtual platforms and A/V set up.

  • Must be willing to travel to customer locations in the PA, NJ, DE areas, overnight if necessary, and we are seeking individuals willing to travel further as well.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of MS Office for email and recordkeeping.
