Position Overview:

Technico is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Construction Photographer & Project Reporting Specialist to document ongoing construction projects and support monthly project reporting efforts. This role is responsible for capturing high-quality photographic documentation across multiple job sites and translating field progress into clear, concise written reports.

This position sits within the Media Department and plays a critical role in maintaining accurate, consistent project records from groundbreaking through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Photography & Documentation

  • Visit active job sites to capture high-quality photographic documentation of construction progress
  • Consistently document key milestones, site conditions, and critical installations
  • Maintain organized digital archives of all project photos, categorized by project, date, and scope
  • Ensure all site photography complies with safety standards and PPE requirements

Monthly Progress Reporting

  • Develop and produce monthly progress reports for all active projects
  • Synthesize field observations, photos, and project updates into clear, professional summaries
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and field teams to gather accurate and timely information
  • Ensure reports are delivered on schedule and aligned with company standards

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Digital Content & Media Manager to identify and document key project milestones
  • Track and ensure consistent documentation of major phases and activities across all projects
  • Support internal project documentation standards and continuous improvement of reporting processes

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction photography, architecture photography, or similar field documentation
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
  • Proficiency in photography equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop)
  • Familiarity with construction environments and terminology preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently

Requirements:

  • Portfolio demonstrating photography skills, specifically in construction settings.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with a clean driving record
  • Ability to use your own professional camera for documenting project progress.
  • Weekends as needed.
