Overview

The Account Supervisor serves as the functional lead to ensure full execution of daily scope of work and quality in assigned areas of a building(s). Overall duties include assisting with the planning, preparation of training and orientation for new team members, organizing and monitoring work processes to ensure that employees understand their duties and delegated tasks. Account Supervisors must be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously and will hold themselves personally accountable to ensure that clients are satisfied with the quality of our service.


Responsibilities

  • Ensures cleaning and facilities work is completed to scope, safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.
  • Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.
  • Inspects work performed by team members.
  • Addresses minor corrective performance concerns with team members; refers more serious cases to the Account Manager and/or District Manager.
  • Provide follow-up on requests and concerns.
  • Identify issues and opportunities during the course of their work and escalate as needed to Account Manager and/or District Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Communicates building changes. (Construction, Remodeling, Repairs, New Facility Contacts, etc. to Account Manager and District Manager)
  • Train new Team Members on facility scope of work, equipment use, and proper cleaning techniques.

Qualifications

Skills Required
  • Be able to lead by example to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests, and work orders are completed on time and within company and customer expectations.
  • Be polite and respectful with clients, guests, and co-workers.
  • Maintain a friendly and safe work environment.
  • Create a work environment where employees want to work with you.
  • Manage the “day to day” activities, ad hoc requests, etc.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a janitorial capacity required. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a supervisory capacity preferred.
Education

Must be 18 years of age.

Work Environment/Hours

A part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.

Schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:30PM to 10:30PM.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift items of up to 35 lbs. while moving around and perform other physical duties (i.e., climb ladder, lifting, bending).
  • Be able to adapt and work as a team to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests and work orders are completed on time and within company expectations.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of the working time standing and walking.
