Job description

Retail Sales Associates:

Retail Sales Associates serve as a customer service representative for guests to The Mill at Ward Cove; assist guests with purchases; prepare and stock merchandise for sale; perform inventory control duties; organize and distribute merchandise. Perform other duties related to the successful operation of the retail store including cleaning and moderate lifting. Lead positions available also.

Dispatch:
A Dispatcher aids in the flow of buses, shuttles, vans and like-vehicles in the parking area; use a combination of phone and radio to communicate with the tour desk and tour operators outside of The Mill at Ward Cove and orchestrate the flow of traffic. This position can be very active at times and employees must be able to move quickly when necessary.

Grounds Crew/Maintenance:
Grounds Crew members clean and maintain the premises of The Mill at Ward Cove. Duties include dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, washing windows, cleaning restrooms and miscellaneous building/grounds maintenance duties; some off-site maintenance tasks to be performed as directed.

Operations Lead/Coordinator:
Tour Operators ensure the smooth flow of guests during their time at Ward Cove; assist large volumes of passengers from the dock to The Mill; communicate with coworkers using radios, answer a variety of questions regarding all subjects relating to Ketchikan, Alaska, their tour, etc.ย  Must be well versed in all aspects of Ketchikan tour operations and have a pleasant and welcoming demeanor.
