Position Title: Preschool Afternoon Receptionist
Reports To: Preschool Director / Preschool Assistant Director

Hours: 2:00-5:30pm Monday-Friday

Job Summary:
The Preschool Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for families, visitors, and staff. This role manages front desk operations, provides administrative support, and helps create a welcoming, safe, and organized environment for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Communication

  • Greet parents, children, and visitors in a warm and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls; direct them to appropriate staff
  • Maintain daily attendance logs and sign-in/sign-out procedures
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages

Administrative Support

  • Collect student records and enrollment forms

Safety & Compliance

  • Monitor building access and ensure check-in/check-out procedures are followed
  • Maintain emergency contact information and health records
