This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, communicating with candidates and clients, and working in a fast-paced office environment. As a Recruiter, you will help connect job seekers with meaningful work while supporting local businesses with their staffing needs.


Location: Orem, Utah
Pay: $16 per hour
Schedule: Monday Friday, primarily 1:00 PM 5:00 PM; flexibility required, as hours may vary some weeks based on branch needs

Job Summary

The Part-Time Recruiter is responsible for supporting recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and placement activities for field employees. This role also assists with day-to-day branch operations, candidate communication, client support, and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable using technology, and able to work independently while staying aligned with branch goals. This position requires someone who can work a flexible schedule, as some weeks may vary depending on branch needs, recruiting activity, and client demand.


Recruiter Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recruit, screen, interview, and help place qualified candidates
  • Conduct orientations and assist with new hire onboarding
  • Complete and organize new hire paperwork
  • Use the company ATS system to manage applicants and employee records
  • Post jobs and source candidates through job boards, social media, and recruiting tools
  • Schedule interviews, appointments, and follow-ups with candidates
  • Communicate with applicants by phone, email, text, and messaging platforms
  • Work with the Branch Manager to support weekly recruiting and staffing goals
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates, employees, and branch clients
  • Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
  • Assist with employee check-ins, attendance follow-up, and work performance communication
  • Answer phones while managing computer-based tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and prioritize urgent tasks as needed
  • Support branch operations as needed during busier weeks or schedule changes


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
  • Must be able to work MondayFriday, primarily from 1:00 PM5:00 PM
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, as hours may vary some weeks based on branch needs
  • Must be able to work in-office at the Utah County branch
  • Must be able to work independently and stay productive with limited supervision
  • Strong communication skills over the phone, in person, by email, and through instant messaging
  • Comfortable using Microsoft products, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to prioritize urgent tasks and stay organized
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and professional
  • Great phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Prior recruiting, staffing, customer service, or office experience preferred
  • Social media recruiting experience preferred
  • Prior scheduling and planning experience preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
