Pay Rate: $13.25/ hourly (+ Tips) | Part -Time | Night, Weekends & Holidays
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Chili's To Go Specialist provides a warm, welcoming greeting to our Guests and to provides an excellent take out experience. The Chili's To Go Specialist will also ensure Guests receive their take out order promptly and will also provide a sincere and heartfelt thank you to each Guest as they leave. You will report to the General Manager or Shift Lead.
Primary Tasks:
  1. You will write food and beverage orders on Guest tickets and enter order into POS quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate abbreviations and charges.
  2. Have proficient knowledge of the menu to explain our offerings to the Guests, inform them of current food promotions and specials and answer any questions.
  3. Maintain a cheerful, dispositions and near, clean, and professional image.
  4. Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior are called to the attention of a Manager.
  5. Keep To-Go area stocked, neat, and free of clutter.
  6. You will collect payment (credit cards, cash) for drinks and food served following company established accounting procedures for all transactions.
  7. Ensure all financial transactions are correct and maintain an accuracy and coins for making change. Operate POS machines correctly. Calculate change due to the Guest and returns the appropriate amount promptly.
  8. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the To-Go station. Ensure all supplies are stocked . Checks for restocking of necessary supplies.
  9. Perform shift change and opening or closing responsibilities.
  10. Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures.
  11. You will assist other Team Members or when needs dictate.
  12. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Requirements:
  • Stands/walk 100% of shift
  • Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes frequently
  • Operate POS, make change, and conduct credit card transactions, account for all monies at the end of each shift
  • Plates of food and clear tables which may require lifting as much as 30lbs
  • Verbalize and respond to Guests
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Prior Customer Service experience
