The Cardiac Technician for the Clinical Operations team is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through accurate ECG analysis in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
As a new hire, you will attend and complete our iRhythm University Training Program. This is comprehensive clinical training experience to become a Cardiac Technician for one of our Product Service Lines.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Review patient ECG data and algorithm findings for clinical accuracy, ensuring 100% data quality.
  • Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians as needed.
  • Perform quality assurance for every report, making necessary modifications before final delivery.
  • Continuously develop ECG interpretation skills, meeting productivity and quality metrics.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and best clinical practices.

Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on cardiac rhythm interpretation experience in a clinical, diagnostic, monitoring, or telemetry environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret ECG/EKG rhythms, identify common arrhythmias, and recognize clinically significant cardiac events.
  • Experience as a Cardiac Monitor Technician, Telemetry Technician, Holter Scanner, ECG Technician, Cardiac Technician, or equivalent role involving cardiac rhythm analysis.
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and medical terminology.
  • Experience working within quality, accuracy, and productivity standards in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong computer navigation skills and ability to work effectively within multiple software applications.
  • Candidates without RN, EMT-P, or CCT must receive CCT certification within 120 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification such as RN, EMT-P, CCT, CRAT, or EKG Certification.
  • Associate degree or coursework in cardiovascular technology, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in remote cardiac monitoring, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, Holter monitoring, or telemetry services.

  • Must attend and complete approximately 6 weeks of iRhythm University training.
  • Must be available to work the entire scheduled training period in office.
