The assignment may be day, evening, weekend, online or off campus and is subject to change as needed. Part-time faculty positions are as needed positions and do not accrue rights to tenure. Part-time faculty positions offer flexible hours and the opportunity to assist a diverse group of adult students in achieving their educational goals.

Demonstrated experience and commitment to integrating new technologies into the learning process, including but not limited to interactive technologies for on campus and on-line courses.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree to teach any master's level discipline in which learning assistance or tutoring is provided, which includes the following disciplines, accounting, allied health, art history, biological science, business, child development, computer science, dietetics, English, foreign language, history, humanities, mathematics, music, nursing, philosophy, physical science, social science; OR, Master's degree in education, educational psychology, instructional psychology or creative writing, or other Master's degree with emphasis in adult learning theory; OR The equivalent AND Evidence of sensitivity, understanding, and ability to manage the classroom environment AND effectively provide instruction to community college students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Recent community college or lower division teaching experience.
