We are OCV LLC. For more than 15 years, we have specialized in mobile app development for law enforcement, public safety, emergency management and public health agencies. Our custom apps for iPhone and Android devices help public safety organizations reach their citizens where they are: their smartphones. We have grown to be a leader in our field and are in search other motivated professionals to add to our dynamic team. We are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer Part-Time Intern to work on-site at our headquarters in Opelika, Alabama. This role contributes to the daily development queue, assisting with new application builds and ongoing support for hundreds of Android and iOS applications, websites, and related digital products.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in onboarding and technical training under the mentorship of a senior developer.
  • Learn and apply version control and testing practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and update Android and iOS applications through OCVโ€™s proprietary systems.
  • Collaborate with Support and Project Management teams to resolve client issues and support production workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technical standards.
