Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support Courtyard - Grand Chute Senior Apartments, a 61-unit senior living community in Appleton. This position is ideal for someone looking for a flexible part-time opportunity (14 hours per week) while making a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors. As the Maintenance Technician, no two days are the same. From completing maintenance requests and preventative maintenance to preparing apartments for new residents and maintaining the property's curb appeal, you'll play a key role in keeping the community running smoothly. You'll work independently while also partnering with the Property Manager and Oakbrook's regional maintenance team to provide exceptional service.Our residents appreciate friendly faces and responsive service, making communication and professionalism just as important as technical skills.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform repairs and maintenance involving HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general building componentsComplete resident work orders in a timely and professional mannerAssist with apartment turnovers, including repairs, painting, cleaning coordination, and move-in preparationPerform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the propertyMaintain the property's grounds, common areas, and overall curb appealConduct safety inspections and report safety concerns immediatelyCoordinate vendor and contractor access when neededMaintain maintenance inventory and suppliesSupport additional properties in the area as neededParticipate in the on-call rotation schedule, as assignedDemonstrate and uphold Oakbrook's ValuesKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExperience in residential property maintenance, apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferredWorking knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and general maintenance practicesStrong problem-solving and time-management skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to interact professionally and respectfully with residents, vendors, and team membersBasic RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver's licenseMust provide personal hand tools required for the positionAbility to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance activitiesWhy Join Oakbrook Corporation?Since 1987, Oakbrook Corporation has proudly served communities throughout the Midwest.
