As a Security Officer Part Time Computer Reporting in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will provide outstanding customer service, support badge and access control procedures, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the technology facility, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
  • Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
