Job description

Pet Food Experts is seeking a Part Time CDL Class A Driver to join our team! As a key member of our team you will be responsible for helping the independent retailers in Northern California win by delivering to them our cutting edge products. Our drivers make inside deliveries to our neighborhood retail customer stores on a weekly basis.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
We prioritize safety and accountability on the road. As part of our commitment to these values, all of our vehicles are equipped with dashcams
  • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
  • Load and unload cargo at retail locations in a friendly and professional manner
  • Utilize tire chains when driving in snowy or icy conditions.
  • Properly track and document activity log through our electronic logging system
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect truck before and after trip

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred
  • Commercial driver's license - Class A
  • Ability to properly install and use tire chains when required.
  • Ability to handle physical workload - we have electric pallet jacks with lift gates but some hand cart work is required
  • Strong work ethic with a customer service attitude
