Position Summary

As a Concessions Utility team member, you will support the overall operations of concession stands by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and readiness of workspaces and equipment. You'll assist with stocking supplies, preparing food and beverage items, and ensuring that all areas meet sanitation and safety standards. Your role is essential in helping the team deliver efficient service and a positive guest experience during events. You will work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and may be asked to support various tasks as needed, including assisting with setup and breakdown before and after events.

To be successful in this position, you should have basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures, with the ability to obtain necessary certifications such as Food Safety Handler. Previous experience in food service or concessions is preferred but not required. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, and be able to follow instructions accurately. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00-$17.50

Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all concession areas, including prep stations, equipment, and storage spaces.
  • Assist with stocking and restocking food, beverage, and supply items before, during, and after events.
  • Support food preparation tasks such as portioning, assembling, and packaging menu items.
  • Ensure all workstations are organized and fully equipped for efficient service.
  • Monitor and dispose of waste properly, following recycling and sanitation guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitize utensils, cookware, and concession equipment regularly.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of concession stands for events.
  • Transport supplies and inventory between storage areas and concession locations.
  • Follow all food safety and handling procedures in compliance with health regulations.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
  • Support team members during peak service times to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with staff and guests.
  • Assist with inventory counts and help track usage of supplies.
  • Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall concession operations.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years foodservice / hospitality experience; similar venue experience a plus.
  • Food service certification

Physical Dimensions:

  • Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking.ย 
  • Routine activities require the employee to be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.ย 
  • The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.ย
