Job description

Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Design Dept - DESGD 243: Typography (Evening School)

Posting End Date:July 13, 2026

Position Start Date:September 1, 2026

Required Degree:

BFA required; MFA in Graphic Design preferred.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

Experience with communication with college-level students and collaboration with colleagues in a collegial manner. Teaching technical concepts requires an efficient thinker with a unique and enthusiastic approach to helping students.

Duties/Expectations:

Teach undergraduate course, DESGD 243: Typography using department-approved curriculum. The position will require lecturing, creating assignments, grading, critiques, and communicating/responding to student emails. Part-time faculty are not required to hold office hours, attend staff meetings, serve on committees, or mentor students.
