Compensation
Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator and Lab Demonstrator positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds.
Employees who do NOT hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the undergraduate rate - $22.07 per hour. (Rate Effective September 1, 2024)
Employees who hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the graduate rate - $34.73 per hour. (Rate Effective September 1, 2024)
In cases whereadditionalduties are required as part of a Teaching Assistant's duties, these hours shall be compensated at theappropriate TeachingAssistant rate.

Duties

The nominal workload for this position is approximately 60 hours per semester. Duties and responsibilities will bein accordance withArticle 22 of the Collective Agreement. Duties will include the responsibilities related to lab sessions.

Qualifications

A completed Honours degree in Physics or related discipline.Previousteaching experience is an asset.
