Code Ninjas Scottsdale is looking for Computer Science Tutor/Instructors to join our team!
Location: 14891 N Northsight Blvd #129 Scottsdale, Arizona 85260
Position: Computer Science Tutor/Instructor
Part Time 5-15 hours/week
$15.00 - $16.00 depending on experience
Hours of Operation: Weekdays 2p - 8p, including Saturdays 9a-4p
Reliable transportation required

What are we looking for?
We are looking for Computer Science Tutor/Instructors to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our Computer Science Tutor/Instructors are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center. This individual oversees the day-to-day coaching and student engagement. Are you experienced in working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? Have you mentored youth? This could be the role for you.
Responsibilities include:
โ€ข Training - go through the curriculum and learn it
โ€ข Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
โ€ข Work with multiple children simultaneously that are all on different curriculum paths and provide customized tutoring dependent on child's learning style
โ€ข Provide feedback to parents after working with a student
โ€ข Follow opening/closing duties daily
โ€ข Clean center throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up to standards
โ€ข Report weekly to Center Director on progress
โ€ข Report daily to Center Director with respect to day's activities and productivity in center
Desired Qualifications:
โ€ข Must be outgoing, energetic, and an extrovert!
โ€ข Working history with children ages 7 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.)
โ€ข Experience working with the general public
โ€ข Experience in teaching, mentoring or child care
โ€ข Works well with others; collaborates
โ€ข Able to quickly pick up basic concepts
โ€ข Must be fun to work with & like working in fast paced environments where requirements can change frequently
High school/college students encouraged to apply
Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
