Position Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, performers, athletes, and property. This role provides access control, patrols the facility, responds to incidents, and enforces stadium policies while delivering outstanding guest service.

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00-$25.00

This position will remain open until November 6, 2026

About the Venue

The new Ryan Field will create a world-class home for Northwestern University Athletics and a best-in-the-nation football experience for fans and players and be a year-round asset for the community.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
  • Conduct security patrols throughout the facility.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents.
  • Assist with crowd management and evacuation procedures.
  • Verify credentials and control access.
  • Complete incident reports.
  • Work closely with local law enforcement, fire, and EMS.
  • Enforce venue policies professionally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Security experience preferred.
  • Valid security license if required by state.
  • Strong observation and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
