Job description

Healing Care Hospice Inc dba Ascentra Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient comfort and care in the home environment.

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides hands-on support to patients and assists the nursing team in delivering compassionate, high-quality care. You will help promote comfort, maintain patients’ dignity, and ensure accurate documentation of observations and care-related tasks.

This part-time, onsite role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, communication, and meaningful work in end-of-life and supportive care settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living while maintaining privacy and dignity

  • Monitor and report patient condition changes to the nursing team according to established procedures

  • Support comfort-focused care by assisting with mobility, hygiene, and positioning as directed

  • Assist with basic measurements and observations, and document care activities accurately

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment in assigned areas

Required Qualifications
