Job description

Job Description - Psychiatrist (Clinical Trial Physician)

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Commitment: 0-8 hours/week
Start Date: Within 0-6 months

Position Summary
We are seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist to serve as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in clinical trials. This role involves overseeing study participants, ensuring protocol compliance, monitoring patient safety, and collaborating with the research team to ensure high-quality trial conduct.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in clinical trials.

  • Conduct medical evaluations and determine participant eligibility.

  • Monitor patient safety, adverse events, and treatment response.

  • Review and sign study-related documentation per protocol and regulations.

  • Collaborate with study coordinators, nurses, and research staff.

  • Attend protocol training sessions and maintain GCP compliance.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with an active Florida medical license.

  • Board-certified in Psychiatry.

  • Interest in clinical research (training provided; prior experience preferred).

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
