Consultants in this role may help design studies, ensure regulatory compliance, manage data, or oversee trial operations, depending on their expertise. Working part time allows consultants to take on multiple projects or clients while maintaining a flexible schedule. This role is ideal for professionals who have experience in clinical research and want to share their knowledge without committing to a full-time position.

What does a part time clinical trial consultant do?

Part-time clinical trial consultants often support protocol development, review study documentation, and provide guidance on regulatory compliance. They typically work closely with clinical research coordinators, principal investigators, and data management teams to ensure trials are conducted ethically and in line with regulatory standards. Despite working part-time, consultants are expected to communicate effectively, participate in team meetings, and offer expert insights on trial design or troubleshooting. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential, as consultants may juggle multiple projects or sites.
