Job description

  • DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
    • The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for providing excellent nursing care to both well patients and those with health problems as well as ensure the patient's right to privacy and confidentiality. They need to maintain competency and exercise sound judgement. Delegate tasks as appropriate and seek consultation. They are responsible to handle emergency situations to provide excellent service to the patient and provider at the clinic sites. Participate in monitoring the quality of service assuring that standards are being met to comply with safety, public health, OSHA, and ACHC regulations. Serve as nursing resource to other clinical staff.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional/Educational
      • Graduate of an accredited RN school. BSN preferred.
      • Current Illinois Registered Professional Nursing license.
      • Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
      • Experience in Ambulatory Clinics preferred.
      • Proficient with computers.
      • DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.

      • Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
      • Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
