Driver - Heavy Duty Truck Class A Tractor Trailer (Part-Time)

Position Summary
DST, located in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a professional Driver - Heavy Duty Truck Class A Tractor Trailer with an active medical certification. Experience hauling heavy construction equipment and familiar with lowboy, step-deck, and RGN trailers is desired.. This is a part-time, non-exempt, Teamsters Union position. Will assist with Teamsters Local 200 membership if needed.
Essential Functions
  • Transport heavy lift equipment and components in a safe and professional manner
  • Must be able to operate an Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
  • Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
  • Prepare proper documentation of actions taken
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience Requirements
  • Must have a Class A CDL with an acceptable MVR.
  • Must have a current Medical Examiner's card.
  • Must have the ability to strap and chain heavy equipment.
  • Must be able work safely around moving machinery.
  • Able to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity.
  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Will be required to perform physically demanding work such as crane assembly/disassembly and rigging.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
