Job description

Hollingsworth Pack is seeking talented, self-motivated students for structural engineering internships in our Austin, Texas office. These are part-time internships with a minimum commitment of 40 hours/month.

Our Austin office engineering staff has been home-grown from our long-standing internship program with The University of Texas at Austin. By providing a work-life balance and variety of professional work to students we have been able to support our local community of young engineers and provide an incubator for professional growth. Responsibilities of our engineering interns include basic engineering design calculations, Revit drafting, and office administration tasks. Occasional site observations of active construction projects will be performed in tandem with other employees. Strong written and verbal communication skills, time management and the ability to flourish in a team environment are required. A Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Civil engineering with a structural focus is preferred.
