This is a remote position.
Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in the InsureMO platform and the Managing General Agent (MGA) insurance market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, innovative insurance solutions that leverage InsureMO's API-first architecture and middleware capabilities. This role will play a key part in driving digital transformation by integrating AI-enabled solutions across enterprise insurance platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
  • Design end-to-end enterprise solutions utilizing InsureMO's APIs, microservices, and integration framework.
  • Define scalable, secure, and high-performing solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
InsureMO Platform
  • Lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of the InsureMO platform.
  • Design solutions supporting policy administration, claims management, billing, and distribution channels.
  • Ensure seamless integration between InsureMO and core insurance systems.
MGA Domain Expertise
  • Design solutions tailored to the operational needs of Managing General Agents (MGAs).
  • Ensure compliance with delegated underwriting models, regulatory requirements, reporting, and distribution processes.
AI & Digital Transformation
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities into insurance workflows, including:
    • Underwriting automation
    • Claims processing
    • Fraud detection
    • Customer engagement
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through intelligent automation.
Technical Leadership
  • Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to development teams.
  • Establish best practices for integration, microservices, API design, security, and performance optimization.
Collaboration
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects, Engagement Leads, product teams, and business stakeholders to define and deliver strategic technology solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.

Requirements
Required Skills
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the InsureMO platform and its ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of MGA (Managing General Agent) operations, delegated underwriting, and insurance distribution models.
  • Experience designing enterprise integration solutions using APIs, microservices, and middleware technologies.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into enterprise insurance platforms.
  • Strong understanding of insurance core systems, including:
    • Policy Administration
    • Claims Management
    • Billing
    • Distribution
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and drive architectural decisions.
Preferred Skills
  • TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
  • Experience with cloud-native architecture and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of API-first architecture, event-driven systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with modern AI technologies and intelligent automation platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and leading distributed development teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
