Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Administer all massage and body care services as detailed by the Spa Director in the most professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate inventory controls of supplies used, and use supplies properly, sufficiently, but not wastefully, in a manner that provides excellent quality treatments with efficient use of products
  • To be familiar with the contraindications of the skin and products to be placed on the skin
  • Understand and follow Blood Borne Pathogen procedures at all times.
  • Provide all treatments according to procedures and guidelines specified at all times to ensure the highest quality and consistent benefits and enjoyment for our guests
  • To understand the importance of punctuality for appointments in Spa
  • Uphold all protocols for set-up and cleanliness of treatment rooms
  • Assist in the locker and/or waiting area and laundry room as needed
  • Perform tasks deemed necessary by management
  • Handle guest complaints by following W&R Spa procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay: $16.90 plus piece rate and gratuity averaging from $32.00 - $48.00 per hour

Requirements
  • CAMTC Certificate. City of Lodi requires this certification to practice massage
  • Have a minimum of 500-hours education from an accredited school
  • Knowledge of physiology
  • Possess skills in various modalities, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Pre-natal
  • Ability to assess guests' physical needs
  • Experience in working with essential oils, their actions, and reactions in terms of stress relief, tension relief, decrease in fatigue, stimulation, circulation, revitalizing skin tissue and relaxation
  • Experience in dealing with guests and team members in a professional manner; ability to adapt to changing situations, working under pressure, and handling unexpected situations with grace
