The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and systems to ensure the highest quality products for customers. This role supports production activities ranging from basic assembly to advanced troubleshooting and, at higher levels, includes leadership, training, and process improvement responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Responsibilities increase in complexity and scope with level)
-Assemble control panels, electronic breadboards, and other electrical components to company specifications.
-Build custom printed circuit boards (PCB), cables, harnesses, and electro-mechanical test equipment per engineering specifications.
-Modify and repair Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) and Flexible Circuit -Assemblies (FCA), including cutting jumpers and replacing components.
-Troubleshoot electrical and system issues to isolate failures using wiring setups and test equipment.
-Execute or implement product test plans defined by engineering.
-Operate electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital volt meters, function generators, ESD guns, and power supplies.
-Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, processes, and efficiency.
Advanced / Senior / Lead Level Responsibilities:
-Perform complex builds and system integration and support product testing and shakedown.
-Provide guidance, training, and daily support to other assemblers.
-Lead or support team activities, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
-Identify and implement process improvements to meet production and quality goals.
-Communicate production status and escalate issues to supervision.

-Associate degree or technical certification in electrical discipline preferred.
Experience Progression:
-Entry: ~6 months of assembly experience
-Intermediate: 3-5 years of assembly experience
-Senior: 6+ years, including testing and integration experience
-Lead: Advanced experience (up to 10+ years or equivalent combination of education/experience) with leadership responsibilities
0Experience building and troubleshooting cables and wiring harnesses preferred or required depending on level.
