Their job involves dressing up in costumes, acting in character, and interacting with guests to create an engaging and memorable experience. These performers may also participate in parades, shows, or photo opportunities depending on the event or venue. The role requires strong acting skills, physical stamina, and excellent customer service abilities. It's a flexible job ideal for those who enjoy entertaining and working with people.

As a part time character performer, auditions typically involve movement exercises, improvisation, and sometimes basic acting or dance routines to assess your ability to embody various characters. If selected, you'll undergo training that covers character-specific mannerisms, safety protocols (especially when wearing costumes), and guest interaction techniques. The process is designed to ensure you can maintain character integrity while providing a memorable and safe experience for guests. Training also often includes team-building exercises, as you'll collaborate closely with other performers and support staff during events.
