A Part Time CDL Instructor is a professional who teaches students how to safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with federal and state regulations, but does so on a part-time basis. They provide classroom instruction as well as behind-the-wheel training, typically helping students prepare for the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) exam. Part time instructors often have flexible schedules and may work evenings or weekends to accommodate students. These instructors are usually experienced commercial drivers themselves and are knowledgeable about safety procedures, vehicle inspections, and driving techniques.
